PK crosses Rs 500 crore worldwide, inching towards Rs 600 crore

Pk -Movie released on 19december 2014 on a Christmas occasion, according to box office had crossed Rs 500 crore worldwide within 2 weeks of release, and possibly it may touch Rs 600 crore and if it does, it will be the first ever film to grab a super duper hit on box office. It will be the 1^st movie to earn Rs 600 crore on box office. According to the report, pk is the highest Bollywood grosser, overtaking dhoom3’s Rs.542crore tally. "PK" has benefited from the festive period combined with no big Bollywood releases since hitting the theatres on December 19. 

Pk is made under the direction of Rajkumar hirani. Again a combo of Rajkumar hirani and Aamir khan’s magic worked on box office. Before this movie they worked together in 3 idiots. The film stars Anushka sharma as the leading lady opposite Aamir. But the movie has to cross through various controversies. Some people are still now against this movie. People burnt the posters of PK in front of theaters to protest against movie and they demand to put a ban on this movie. Let’s take a look at other controversies that the film has courted since its release on December 19.

A case has been registered against the director, producer and actor of PK at Bajaj Nagar police station, said the police. Aamir khan has invited sharp reactions and protest from Hindu outfits who have demanded a ban on screening of the movie, by saying that it hurts the religious sentiments.

Aamir khan’s pk has invited sharp reactions from yoga Guru Baba Ramdev who has called for a social boycott of those involved in making of the film on December 28 by saying that it has criticized Hindu Gods and Goddesses. He also said that “usually this happens people think 100 times while talking against Islam. However, when it comes to Hinduism any one gets up and says anything. This is shameful.”

Don’t slam pk without even seeing it: Agnivesh-Everything has two sides like a coin, good and bad, same is happening with pk, some people are saying that pk should be banned but some are saying that film like pk must be welcomed by one and all.

The 75year old, Arya Samaj leader, Agnivesh believes that the film pk should not be opposed by peoples. He said that those who are protesting against this film haven’t even seen the film. Swami Agnivesh also suggested that the film should be made tax-free throughout the country. He also added “The film is not against anyone’s sentiments, therefore it is right time that this film should be made tax-free throughout the country, in all the States,” Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have made it tax free.

2. PK is a film that does not only question what religion is but questions stupid norms society creates. A little similar to OMG in story. PK on the onset seemed very hilarious and was going to be path breaking, but 2nd half got very predictable, and ending was a letdown.

3. PK is so far the best rajkumar hirani film because half the people are just laughing and not getting the real metaphor. PK a normal man's journey to find inner peace and meaning and how religion sells the fake hope, that's what the movie is about.
