Even if Australia is on the verge of winning the series, there is no way to stop the Indians from breaking the records. The test series is ongoing between Australia and India, in which Australia is leading with 2-0. Interesting things happened in this series,Virat Kohli was made captain for the very first time for the first test match. Then Mahendera Singh Dhoni came back for the captaincy of two tests and declared his retirement on the third test match and Virat Kohli was again made captain for the Fourth and Final Test Match at Australia.
Virat Kohli on Thursday became the first Test skipper to score three centuries in first three innings. The 26-year-old as captain scored three centuries under his captaincy three innings.
On the third day of the last test match between India and Australia, Virat scored his third century as a captain. It was his fourth century in the whole series. Virat will continue playing on Friday from his score140.
In Adelaide Test, he scored 115 and 141; he scored his best at Melbourne. His highest being 169 in third test matches.  Kohli has scored 10 Test hundreds within 33 matches.

It was a day of records at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) for the Indians, who made the best of the opportunity to score on a rather placid track The Sydeny Cricket Ground was not only effective for Virat Kohli, Lokesh Rahul also scored a century making India on respectful position of score 342/5 on the third day of Sydney Test. Lokesh Rahul overcame the horror of Melbourne to compile a century. There are no chances for India to lose by an innings.

position along with Clive Lloyd, Sunil Gavaskar and David Gower.
Herbert Sutcliffe, with 9 hundreds leads the pack.
·  Kohli is only the third batsman to score 4 Test hundreds in a series
Australia. Herbert Sutcliffe and Sir Wally Hammond are the other
two players to achieve the feat.
·    Having already broken the record for most runs by a Indian number
four batsman in a Test series, Virat Kohli now has scored the most
runs by any visiting Indian batsman in Australia. When he reached
121, he had gone past Dravid's record of 619 runs he had scored
