series,Virat Kohli was made captain for the very first time for the first test
match. Then Mahendera Singh Dhoni came back for the captaincy of two tests and
declared his retirement on the third test match and Virat Kohli was again made
captain for the Fourth and Final Test Match at Australia.
Virat Kohli on Thursday
became the first Test skipper to score three centuries in first three innings.
The 26-year-old as captain scored three centuries under his captaincy three
innings.
On the third day of the
last test match between India and Australia, Virat scored his third century as
a captain. It was his fourth century in the whole series. Virat will continue
playing on Friday from his score140.
In Adelaide Test, he
scored 115 and 141; he scored his best at Melbourne. His highest being 169 in
third test matches. Kohli has scored 10
Test hundreds within 33 matches.
Kohli on Thursday also
became the second Indian batsman after Sunil Gavaskar to score four tons in a
Test series. After MS Dhoni's retirement from Tests, Kohli has taken charge of
the Test team as its captain.

at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) for the Indians, who made the best of the

two players to achieve the feat.
· Having already broken the record for most runs by a Indian
number
four batsman in a Test series, Virat Kohli now has scored the most
runs
by any visiting Indian batsman in Australia. When he reached
121, he had gone
past Dravid's record of 619 runs he had scored
during the 2003/04 season.
