INDIA BACK IN CARLTON SERIES
With
India losing against Australia on 16 jan 2015 and again got beaten by the England on 20 jan 2015 India had only
last chance to remain in
tri-series by beating Australia. But Rain had its own plans resulting in draw of match and making India got 2
points, opening the score card for
India in this tri series.
Indian Team is in Australia since November. After losing the test series to Australia by 2-0, India had tri series to play with Australia and England. Starting from 16th jan 2015, India had its first match with Australia, in very interesting ending India lost the match to Australia. Thus, the first match of the Carlton Tri Series 2015 was won by Australia.The next match of India was scheduled on 20 january 2015.The hopes of all Indian fans were brutally crashed with England winning the match with 9 wickets. Gaining a bonus point in tri series England got the second position falling behind the host team Australia. The third match was scheduled on 23 jan 2015. The match was important from the prospective of India. If England had won the match, Indian team would be chucked out of the series. But as luck was on Indian side or say the host team want the trophy to remain in their country, Australia won the match with 4 wickets. On 26 january, The 66th Republic Day of India, Indian Team were given the gift of two points by the mother nature. The match was abandoned due to continuous rain and both Australia and India got two points.India had only made upto 69 runs while losing two wickets in 16 overs.After some time the continuous rain resulted in the match drawn thus giving India Australia both two points. So India is back in series.
India to remain in this series, India will have to beat England on the January 30th. The next match will decide who will be playing against Australia on Feb 1, 2015. This Indian team has given birth to doubts in the mind of all Indian Cricket Fans regarding the World Cup 2015. With no change in the team and the same team going for another round of matches on the same cricket grounds only after 15-20 days for the World Cup 2015 have arisen the suspicious of WILL INDIA BE ABLE TO PROTECT THE WORLD CUP?????? Or IS IT TIME FOR NEW CHAMPIONS???????????
